Airush Protoy Overview

The Protoy is suited to the rider looking for refined freestyle performance with riding comfort normally only found in a freeride board. The secret lies in the unique double concave bottom combined with the new generation 3 stage rocker and 3 stage outline. The shape performs in conjunction the high level of damping and response found in our multi-zone Biotech core combined with the custom X lamination.

COMPARED TO THE FS:
- New shape for 2011, featuring deeper concave, new three stage rocker & compact flip tip.
- Reduced weight through new custom X construction.

RAILS:
- Square ABS rail for durability and a fast clean water release.

ROCKER:
- 3 stage "competition" rocker for speed and early planning.

FLEX:
- Medium stiffness rating for a good blend of comfort and pop.

BOTTOM SHAPE:
- The double concave bottom softens the ride in choppy conditions, increases the directional stability at speed and enhances edging and low wind performance.

OUTLINE:
- The wide tips of the Protoy offer a huge level of pop blended with stability at speed. Three stage outline with freestyle oriented tip ratio.

FINS:
- The Transit Fins offer increased grip and stability as the result of an intermediate cutaway trailing edge.

Multizone Biotech/Quad Carbon:
- The Airush Multizone Biotech construction is a vertical wood core sandwich comprising of a dual density Balsa and Poplar core with ABS rail and tips. Our Wood cores are renowned for their response, durability and smoothness, with the proven performance of the industry's first two year warranty. This is combined with Quad Carbon bracing and CNC Core Profiling, ensuring the perfect combination of refined flex, optimum weight and bombproof performance.

AFT III Airush Footpads (Black/Orange)
The new AFT 3 SW strap and pad system has been re-engineered from 2010, harmoniously incorporating the AFT 2 molded pad system and the renowned comfort of the AFT switch strap.

The molded footbed secures the foot and provides comfort, whilst the simple fastening system allows easy access to novices. With levels of performance and comfort not found on other straps in this niche, it is a sure favorite among riders of all levels.
