Murray Aldrich: North UK 2005/06/07 Kiteboarding UK Team rider. Murray became our shop sponsored rider in 2005 and soon with our help, progressed to a Full North UK team rider. He has also been very lucky to travel extensively to many Kite camps and North training sessions. He is currently being mentored and trained by the Senior North riders including Dave Ibbertson current UK mens BKSA champion and the likes of Jamie Herraiz. Murray and his dad attended our kiteboarding school in 2004 and took the IKO BKSA 3 day course. Murray quickly fell for the sport, while dad Mark became Kite caddy and support team. We soon picked up on Murray's ability and enthusisiam and combined to support him on the BKSA tour. We wish Murray and Mark his dad all the best for the 2007 BKSA Tour. And hope to support this father and son team as much as we possibly can.

Vicki Heather: Slingshot/Nobile boards 2006/07 Kiteboarding UK team rider. In 2006 Vicki came third overall in the UK BKSA Kitesurfing championship tour....We first met Vicki in 2004 when she attended our kite school for IKO BKSA kiteboarding tuition. Soon kiteboarding took over her whole life and since then she has become a IKO/BKSA Instructor and then onto building a solid repertoire of tricks. Nowadays everything is about training to compete in the UK BKSA tour.. We wish her all the best and hope we can support her and help her in achieving her goals. After sticking with us showing her reliability and solid work ethic Vicki was rewarded with a full sponsoreship deal with Slingshot UK and now comes under there full wing. So thats great news.

Ric Burton: North kiteboards Kiteboarding UK team rider 2004. We first met Ric and his dad when they both attended our kite school and took the IKO BKSA 3 day course in 2000. They both started using the 2000 Cabrinha CO2 kites. Ric became heavily involved with KiteboardingUK and was one of our more regular attending members frequently seen at Kessingland club days. In 2004 we sponsored Ric with North kiteboards and while he continued using his Cabrinha C02 kites. Ric Burton was unfortunately tempted away from us way to early in his kiteboarding career. And now rides for another shop. However we still remain in close contact with him and still kiteboard with him frequently.
Ric continues in his goal to compete and his kiteboarding is an inspiration to us. You can find him regularly at Lowestoft, Kessingland, Sea Palling but mostly Hunstanton. Good Luck for the future Ric.

Kiteboarding in LowestoftKiteboarding in Lowestoft
Lowestoft main beach is close to where our shop is located. The beach is about 50 metres away. KUK Members have 3 council approved Kite Zones. Lowestoft Main Beach use of this location during winter months only. Pakefield can be used during the summer months providing there are no tourists around. Flying kites above or close to any of the general public is not permitted at any time of the year.....Kessingland is designated Kiteboarding Uk's teaching therefore in the interest of safety you can have a polite word with the public and we have our own flagged of kite zone.
You must have insurance to kiteboard at all locations on the east coast. Common sense is required, do not put your kite close to or above the general public and if the general public wanders into the Kite Zone please be polite and explain the dangers. Many people simply want to get as close as they can to the action, unaware of the obvious dangers.
